Overview
This position involves managing all company matters related to compliance to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements by complying with all laws, regulations, publications, and professional and ethical standards issued by legislative bodies. It includes identifying, analyzing, and mitigating risks, assessing the likelihood and impact of those risks, and developing compliance policies.
Responsibility: -
- Develop and implement compliance-related policies, systems, and procedures to ensure they align with company regulations and legislation.
- Monitor departmental performance regarding their adherence to all controls, procedures, and violation systems and penalties issued by regulatory bodies, providing periodic reports on compliance status, as well as advice or training.
- Prepare report templates to provide periodic analyses of risks and compliance for management.
- Contribute to the evaluation of future business projects to identify goals, risks, and criteria necessary for achieving compliance.
- Coordinate with department managers to review all administrative compliance policies based on the approved plan by the board.
- Regularly assess the effectiveness of control systems and recommend effective improvements to ensure compliance.
- Develop comprehensive compliance programs to ensure adherence to all applicable regulations and standards.
- Organize and deliver awareness and training programs for employees on compliance requirements and legal and regulatory standards, as well as updating company departments on the latest laws, regulations, and instructions to ensure proper understanding and application.
- Analyze legal and regulatory changes and their impact on the company's operational activities, preparing reports on compliance status and risks.
- Conduct compliance checks on the company and its employees regarding their adherence to corporate governance rules and legal and regulatory requirements.
- Advise management on the company's compliance with its laws and regulations through detailed reports.
- Develop effective action plans considering the review mechanism of the company’s procedures, practices, and documentation to identify potential weaknesses or compliance risks.
- Interact with regulatory bodies and monitors (Ministry of Human Resources, Tadawul, Capital Market Authority) to provide required information and reports and cooperate with them.
- Review the results of regulatory reports and verify that the company has taken the necessary actions regarding them.
- Follow up on audit recommendations and implement necessary improvements, providing periodic reports to the General Manager of Compliance, Governance, and Risk on compliance status, risks, and opportunities.
- Gather information through data research and analysis.
- Conduct regular assessments to determine whether policies comply with laws, regulations, and directives.
- Maintain complete confidentiality regarding all work-related information.
- Perform any other tasks assigned related to the nature of the work.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in administrative sciences, Law or a related field
- 2-5 years of experience in GRC.
